Moving on from your childhood into a woman must have been something very challenging for you as a teenager. Having many thoughts in your mind and not knowing what to do is one of the most difficult challenges you put yourself in. Abortion almost seemed the perfect solution to your problem, but you were able to walk away and say no. The moment you found out you were pregnant and had a baby inside of you, you tried very hard to not get to attached because you weren’t sure of what to do. You decided that having an abortion wasn’t the best option, so adoption became your next choice. What I personally admire about you is that you never gave up or allowed anyone bring you down at school. You didn’t care what others thought of you for being pregnant but you managed to keep yourself from falling.
I agree with the decision you made Juno. I personally think that you as a mother made the right decision for your baby’s well-being and future. Giving your baby up is not a very easy task but it reflects back on you for giving your baby a better opportunity for a better life. Giving your baby to a welcoming couple or parent that desires to have a child is one of the greatest blessings you can give them. Being a teen mom isn’t the easiest thing only because you are not emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially stable to have a child. Through the process of the adoption you were able to get to know more about your baby’s future parents and their interest if life as a family. You had that feeling inside of you as a mother that this is where your baby is meant to be. Vanessa Loring always dreamed of being a mother and a being single mother to her baby was no obstacle because she was in love with her baby.
Pro choice and pro life are two completely different things about one very sensitive topic. When I think about pro choice I think about millions of teen moms that are forced to have an abortion, because they don’t have that support from their parents. But I also think that they are not selfish enough to kill innocent life because of a decision they had made. But in the end it is the women’s right to choose if they wish to be a mother. Most of the time these future mom’s experience a very difficult situation whether on how society will think of them. The honest truth is only mother’s know what is best for their child, rather than what society thinks that looks best. Pro life people will argue the fact that killing a human being is not the right choice in life. Every baby that is inside a women should be born only because he or she is a human being that deserves the right to live. No matter the circumstance such as rape, should stop the mother from having her baby only because it’s not the baby’s fault. Roe vs Wade should be kept the same only because it has helped improve millions of issues on abortion.
I wouldn’t judge someone for having an abortion only because I don’t know what it’s like. If I were to be pregnant right now I would probably keep my baby only because I know that by having an abortion I would lose a part of me. But I also understand to why people prefer to have an abortion and I also respect their decision. I’m not one to judge for someone’s choice. I know that as a mother I will give it my best and go out of my way for my baby’s life. It is not because I now have a choice whether to be a mother or not, but even if I didn’t I feel that if I got myself in this mess I can work myself through it.
